COVID-19 ATTENDEE INFORMATION for
cs week 2020

Updated March 20, 2020.

CS Week’s Board of Directors and Executive staff have cancelled CS Week 2020, originally scheduled for May 18-22, in Fort Worth, TX. This decision was made in cooperation and compliance with local, state and federal restrictions/bans for travel, public gathering, personal contact and eating/drinking establishments. The worldwide emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic has created undeniable risk and concern. Your safety and security remain priority #1 for CS Week

CS Week recognizes that many of you, as utility professionals, are working in uncharted, stressful times. Your utility’s practiced disaster and emergency planning may or may not have included a pandemic situation like the one the U.S. and other countries currently face. Please know CS Week is with you in spirit as you continue to reassure customers, identify and implement new operating procedures and weather the uncertainty of how long and how far this situation will impact your utilities. We are also concerned for you personally and urge you to take seriously the protections and precautions imposed by local officials. Some of you are at home caring for school-aged children or elderly parents. We are in this together, and we will emerge from this challenge stronger and with unwavering resolve.

Over the next weeks and months, CS Week staff will be working in concert with you to determine possible alternatives for CS Week 2020. These may include rescheduled 2020 date(s) later in the fall when public health officials determine the threat will be contained, virtual events or a restyled version of CS Week, yet to be determined. CS Week will keep you informed and regularly updated along the way. You will be notified by email of decisions and educational/networking opportunities that result from this re-set. We appreciate your support and look forward to reconnecting with each of you.
