Individual Achievement Awards Now Enhance Expanding Excellence Awards

Starting with the 2019 Conference, the Expanding Excellence Awards are being extended to add Individual Achievement Awards. CS Week’s Board of Directors approved two new awards that will identify and honor individual utility employees who have made significant leadership contributions or whose track record reflects a strong potential for growth and higher accountability. Individual Achievement Awards will be made annually at the discretion of the CS Week Award Committee, which may choose to grant one, none or multiple awards in any one Conference year.

CS Week announces the 2020 Expanding Excellence Awards, designed to recognize and salute excellence in customer service in one large and one small utility. The Expanding Excellence Awards program honors outstanding accomplishments and innovations in utility customer service in four award categories:

 

BEST ANALYTICS PROJECT

Awards are presented to utilities that have successfully completed a pilot project or large-scale implementation during 2018 or 2019 that optimized analytics provided by devices, data or other related technologies to address, remediate or enhance customer service.  more

BEST CIS IMPLEMENTATION

Awards are presented to utilities for a highly successful Customer Information System (CIS) project implemented during 2018 or 2019. more

INNOVATION IN DIGITAL CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT

Awards are presented to utilities that have developed an innovative, high-tech or technologically complex approach to improving customer service in the meter-to-cash customer experience lifecycle during 2018 or 2019.  more  

INNOVATION IN PEOPLE & PROCESS

Awards are presented to utilities that have developed an innovative, low-tech or non-technological approach to improving customer service in the meter-to-cash customer experience lifecycle.  more
