CS Week 2021 Logistics
Your Health and Safety
CS Week is committed to ensuring your health and safety by following essential federal, state and local safety guidelines. Whether you are an attendee, an exhibitor, a sponsor or staff, we want you to feel comfortable and that you are in responsible, trustworthy hands.
With in-person CS Week 2021 set for April 26-29, it is impossible to know the future COVID-19 situation tomorrow. We can all agree that restrictions, bans and mandatory actions will likely change from what we know them to be today. CS Week will post updates on its website and broadcast emails to its attendee database with the latest information. We recognize and respect that utilities and companies are hesitating to commit. As your reliable educational resource, that’s why CS Week 2021 is moving ahead as a HYBRID.
Look for updates about CS Week 2021 by December 15, 2020 and February 1, 2021.
Tampa Convention Center
In September 2020, the Tampa Convention Center was awarded the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ Facility Accreditation because it has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention. The accreditation process verifies that TCC implements best practices to prepare for, respond to and recover from outbreaks and pandemics. This is a significant achievement and one that gives CS Week high confidence to partner with TCC. GBAC STAR is considered the gold standard for prepared facilities.

Hotels and Transportation
We are closely coordinating with designated Conference hotels, local transportation providers and Tampa’s convention and visitor’s bureau to assess local requirements and to ensure their compliance with essential safety guidelines. We will keep you informed and reset expectations if necessary, well in advance of your travels and stay.
CS Week recognizes that its annual conference has a direct and positive impact on the local economy and jobs. While you are in Tampa, it’s likely you’ll eat at least once in a restaurant, buy a souvenir or two, have a drink somewhere, hail a cab, and visit a local attraction. And that’s just the first day! Tampa’s recreation and tourism industry represents a huge slice of the overall economy in western Florida. CS Week is pleased to help promote Tampa, and we encourage our attendees to come early and stay late to explore this vibrant, fun city.
All Virtual? Postponement?
Today CS Week 2021 is being planned as a HYBRID. Tomorrow may bring new challenges. Based on 2020’s VIRTUAL TOUCH success, we remain confident that, with your continued support, we will together deliver an outstanding conference experience should a virtual-only CS Week 2021 emerge as the most viable option.
CS Week 2021 could also be postponed to later 2021 dates, should conditions progress in sustained, positive directions.
With utility tiered pricing discounts, CS Week remains a sound investment in professional and personal growth. We recognize that some utility professionals may be unwilling or unable to commit until the winter or spring. Know that CS Week stands ready and willing to answer questions and to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. Online registration at www.csweek.org opens in November. Designated conference hotel links will be posted as well.
CS Week remains your educational and networking partner for utility customer service/supporting IT content, Despite the uncertainties, we are receiving ‘thumbs up’ from industry partners and utilities for our decision to produce a hybrid CS Week 2021.
