Planning Committee Application

Please note that only utility employees are eligible to serve on the CS Week Planning Committee.

 

Purpose: In a cooperative effort, effectively plan and organize a professional, educational, and informative annual CS Week.

 

Membership: New members are selected annually by the Nominating Committee. The committee makes every effort to maintain a balance of users vs. technicians, large vs. small utility companies, men vs. women, and both a utility and geographical cross-section when considering their selection for new members.

 

The Chairperson will maintain a current file of planning committee applications for selection purposes. Should member replacement become necessary during the year, the current Chairperson has the authority to select a replacement.

Attend and actively participate in: Annual committee meeting held at CS Week Committee meeting held in late summer or early fall at upcoming CS Week site Conference calls as necessary Provide valuable input in developing CS Week theme and workshop topics Assist in preparing workshop descriptions and securing workshop speakers Introduce workshop speakers at the annual CS Week Conference Recommend keynote speakers Promote exhibitor participation at CS Week Help at CS Week as needed Attend CS Week’s sponsored events, especially the Hospitality Suites and the Special Event Act as ambassador in supporting CS Week
