Energy Efficiency: Principles and Practices

Proven Strategies for Creating, Delivering and Maximizing Demand Side Management.

1-Day course:

Monday, May 18th.

Well-designed Demand Side Management (DSM) programs are effective methods for reducing peak demand of electricity. When properly implemented, DSM helps curb escalating electricity prices for consumers, allows power generators greater control of the electrical load and promotes overall conservation of stretched resources.

Learn how utilities, government agencies and power generators can educate consumers on reducing electrical power demand. Education, public awareness, low-cost public relations campaigns and better communication are all tools that can make people active participants in demand side programs.

Conservation, better resource management and a smaller carbon footprint are all matters that are important to modern consumers and maximize opportunities for DSM. DSM makes smarter consumers and helps utilities operate more efficiently.
